Hey people let’s see the traditional ground of the world cricket. Its also known as the Mecca of international cricket. Lord’s Cricket Ground is a cricket venue in St John’s Wood, London. Named after its founder, Thomas Lord, it is owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and is the home of Middlesex County Cricket Club, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the European Cricket Council (ECC) and, until August 2005, the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Presently Lord’s is not on its original site. His first ground, now referred to as Lord’s Old Ground, was where Dorset Square now stands. His second ground, Lord’s Middle Ground, was used from 1811 to 1813 before being demolished to make way for the construction through its outfield of the Regent’s Canal. The present Lord’s ground is about 250 yards (230 m) north-west of the site of the Middle Ground. It is referred to the ‘Home Of Cricket.’

Guys, want to know the idol of the cricketing world? He was the Don of the world cricket. He is Sir Donald George Bradman, was born on 27 August 1908. He widely known as the greatest batsman of all time. Bradman’s career Test batting average of 99.94 has been claimed to be statistically the greatest achievement in any major sport.

During a 20-year playing career, Bradman consistently scored at a level that made him, in the words of former Australia captain Bill Woodfull, “worth three batsmen to Australia”. A complex, highly driven man, not given to close personal relationships, Bradman retained a pre-eminent position in the game by acting as an administrator, selector and writer for three decades following his retirement. More than 50 years after his retirement as a Test player, in 2001, the Australian Prime Minister John Howard called him the “greatest living Australian”. He died on 25 February 2001. Bradman’s image has appeared on postage stamps and coins. On 19 November 2009, Sir Don Bradman was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.

Hello friends, today lets discuss about transport.

Transport is the most important mode without which humans cannot live. In simple words, there is no world without transportation. Transport is the movement of people and goods from one place to another. The field can be divided into infrastructure, vehicles, and operations. Infrastructure consists of the fixed installations necessary for transport, and may be roads, railways, airways, waterways, canals and pipelines, and terminals such as airports, railway stations and bus stations. Terminals may both be used for interchange of passengers and cargo, and for maintenance.

In the transport industry, operations and ownership of infrastructure can be either public or private, depending on the country and mode. Passenger transport may be public, where operators provide scheduled services, or private. Freight transport has become focused on containerization, although bulk transport is used for large volumes of durable items. Transport plays an important part in economic growth and globalization, but most types cause air pollution and use large amounts of land.

I would like to start the day with an interesting topic called mobile phones. A mobile phone has made our work easier and faster. It is an electronic device used for mobile telecommunications which works over a specialized base stations known as cell sites. Mobile phones differ from cordless telephones, which only offer telephony service within a limited range, through a fixed line and a base station owned by the subscriber.

As opposed to a radio telephone, a cell phone offers full duplex communication, automatised calling to and paging from a public land mobile network, and handoff during a phone call when the user moves from one cell (base station coverage area) to another. The mobile phone also has various other fscilities, such as SMS for text messaging, email, packet switching for access to the Internet, gaming, Bluetooth, infrared, camera with video recorder and MMS for sending and receiving photos and video, MP3 player, radio and GPS.
